Columbia Regional Airport (COU)
The Columbia Regional Airport is owned and operated by the City of Columbia, Missouri and is a division of the Columbia Public Works Department. Airport operations are administered by the Airport Manager, Don Elliott.
There are 17 Airport Employees who work in the following areas: administration, terminal and field maintenance, custodial services, and airport safety.
An airport advisory board composed of twelve (12) members, seven (7) of which are appointed by the Columbia City Council, exists to make a continuous study of airport needs and of aviation in the area, and makes recommendations to the Columbia City Council for the development and use of the airport. The governing bodies of Boone County, Jefferson City, Fulton and Ashland may also appoint one member to the Board.
